Hi All - just to say Hi! :-)

Yeah it was a lovely paint job -minus the missing front bumber trim as you can see. As soon as the sales guy started it up I was sold - as the cherry bombs came out under the doors Mad Max stylie. There is a pink panther doll hanging from the rear view mirror if you look carefully. It didn't start properly - but I had some great friends at the time. So a few new HT leads, ignition retardation and carb-balance and it was a rocket ship. Had a few other problems later on like ruined discs, steering rack and so on - and ran out of money and sold it for a huge loss. Swore the next yank I got I would have my own house with a garage - and here I am! This was a true '2 black lines' motor though - but ran out of revs about 100mph. My mate had a brand new MG Montego and he was left in the dust - this motor was rapid!
